ABOUT GRASSROOTS YARN

I'm a full time working mom with a passion for fiber arts. As I was contemplating my next knitting project, I realized that East and North Knoxville is woefully lacking in a good resource for yarn. With little capital to open my own bricks and mortar store, I opened my little booth in Nostalgia on McCalla in February 2016 with the grassroots effort to build my dream from the

ground up. In September I relocated to the Shoppes at Fountain City Station. After changes to the Station retail focus caused me to rethink my future, I decided to turn my energies to an online store as I contemplate my next move. Every purchase in support of the Grassroots Yarn booth will go toward building inventory and capital. This is a work in progress, but I look forward to seeing where I can take this little shop with the support of my customers.
