11 more shopping days until Christmas! Come shop Weston, we have what you are looking for, from tat unique gift to a special weekend out on the town. Gift certificates are available for all of Weston at the Weston MO Chamber of Commerce.
Speaking of the Chamber - they will be wrapping gifts this season, shop in town, drop off your present, come back to it ready to go under your tree! $5 per package on Saturdays from 11-3! Weston residents can call the chamber (Saturday 11-3 or go to Tissue & Twine to set up a wrapping appointment for $30 for unlimited packages)
So much going on this weekend I will get right to it:
Family Holiday Movie Night will be going on Saturday at the old Sur-Gro Building, the fun starts at 4pm with Urban Street Taqueria on site. Free popcorn, hot chocolate and s'mores will be available. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the show starting at dusk with The Grinch and Elf. Warming stations available.
Saturday The Coal House Saloon will be open late, stop in if you need a warmup!
Weston Wine Company is starting out the week on Thursday night with Salsa Dancing lessons starting at 7:30. Friday, Christmas Vacation Trivia will be going on and Saturday, Christmas Movie Trivia both starting at 7:30. Sunday they will host a Christmas Gnome Sip and Paint, along with a Chiefs Watch Party at noon. Don't forget Veil and Vow Tarot will be in the house to read your tarot. (Many of these events sell out so check their fb page in advance- Harry Potter is hitting their place in January, buy tickets early)
Beers To You Saloon has Wednesday night pool tournament, starting at 7pm. Thursday and Friday, DJ Luke is in the house playing the karaoke songs you like to sing to! Sunday, they will open early 11:30 for the Chiefs watch party! Tuesday the 19th is Trivia Tuesday PJ Party, come dressed in appropriate pj's and enjoy free hard-shell tacos provided by Romero’s. Dec 22nd is their annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. Make plans to be there now!
The Whiskey Snug will have live music Friday night from 6-8pm by Ryan Manuel.
Tickets are still available for the live performance and the streaming radio show of the production on It's A Wonderful Life, performed by the Little Theatre of Weston, at the Royal Deluxe at the St. George Hotel!
Old Fashioned Friday's will be going on through years end at the Holladay Distillery's Welcome Center. Enjoy a cocktail, tastings and conversations with friends.
O'Malley's Pub will have the wonderful Bob Reeder playing in the upper pub Friday and Saturday at 8pm and again Sunday from 3-9pm. The Whiskey Mash Band will play the lower Friday and Saturday starting at 8pm. They are also playing NYE make plans now!
Riverwood Winery has Amanda Hughey playing Saturday from 1-4pm, Sunday, Vaughn Cowden will play from 1-4.
Saturday afternoon from 1-4 stop into La Bella Cucina Italian Market for an Italian Wine tasting. You may find your new favorite!
Weston Mid Continent library will host a Kids Create Art: Winter Crafts! Friday December 15th at 4pm - Get out of the cold and create some winter crafts!
