YMR Train Shoppe The YMR Train Shoppe is a project of the Denver Area Youth in Model Railroading, a non profit model railroad organization just for kids ages 8-18.

The profits from the sales of model train items supports the YMR program.

We accept all kinds of model train donations. Our number one PRIORITY is the members of YOUTH in MODEL RAILROADING.

When donations come in, we sort and separate the donations. If we feel that members can use any of the donations we pull them. The kids get first choice.
We will NOT sell them in the store the minute they come in.

Please Be Courteous During This Process, this process may take up 2-3 months.

We accept all types of model train donations.
It has been asked what we do with them.

Number 1 priority is the members of the Denver Area YOUTH in MODEL RAILROADING We will sort and separate the donations. If we feel that members of the club would like them we pull them and put them on the side.
We will NOT sell them the minute they come in.

Then we find out what the club can use, door prizes, clinic supplies, etc.

Then after we have sorted, club members received what they would like, the YMR club got what it needed, then we sell in the Train Shoppe. All profits from sales go to the Denver Area Youth in Model Railroading.

Our annual Surplus Sale is our main fundraising event to support the Youth in Model Railroading. The items in our Surplus Sale is just “stuff”. Good stuff, old stuff, interesting stuff, different scale stuff at extremely good prices.

Please be courteous as we go through this process.
