Hello to my friends and fans of Magic. I would like to invite you to a fabulous Magic show produced by the Orange County Magic club.

I will be the host for the evening. If you can, please come out and experience a very special night of Magic with some amazing performers. November 15 at 7 PM at the Anaheim downtown community center. Hope to see you there!

Wednesday, October 9, at the Orange County Magic club, which is located at the Anaheim community center at 7 PM .

I’ll be doing an informal talk on how to improvise during your show. While keeping your improvisation contextual to the narrative of your show and letting your audience experience, the reality of “this show was special and just for them” we’re also going to be doing some improv games as well. If your a first time visitor to the Orange County Magic club there is no cost.

After my talk, they’ll be a magic jam for anybody who wants to go up and perform.

So come on out and let’s have a great time.

Jeremy Griffith will be giving a workshop Octobet 21st 6:00 to 7:00 at the Ring 96 in seal beach. Then the regular meeting starts at 7:00 which will be Halloween Magic with member performances. 3333 Saint Cloud in Seal Beach. The workshops starts at 6:00 pm and the meeting starts at 7:00.

To all my friends and customers throughout 22 years of running Magic Galore and More it is now time for me to shut my store down.

It has been an incredible unbelievable, relational journey, discovering the amount of creativity in the world through magicians and the art of magic. I still intend to pursue magic and lots of other topics that I’m interested in, but on heartfelt and pragmatic grounds, it’s time to shut down my store.

What a journey has been I Want to thank all of my friends who supported my store through the years it has been a great time getting to know all of you.

I’m especially going to miss the little kids who would come in to my store and being in awe when they walked in my store and I said welcome to the magic shop! The expressions on their faces were priceless.

I’m going to have an open house to hang, session and to turn the page and close an amazing book. The name of the book is entitled Magic Galore No More, lol.

So it is with a sad and joyful heart that this season in my life comes to an end so please come and hang out on Saturday the 18th of February from 12:00 pm to whenever to hang out, session and share some memories. Hope to see you there.

I just read the  personal reflections from all of you that I’ve come to know as friends.

My store was never intended just to sell magic. It was a place where I could connect to you and experience what you have all shared with me.

I always wanted to create a sacred space where people could truly see each other, and be made more alive…

In this case it was mostly in the context of the art of magic. Much of that was also in the context of my love for philosophy.

It ended up being much more than that, a place where I was seen by all of you… that was an unexpected gift, I will never forget. Thank you all for seeing me I will treasure that the rest of my life…

This Saturday October 8th between 2 and 4 PM Jeremy Griffith and Victor piña will be lecturing here. Victor is one of Spain’s up-and-coming Spanish magicians. He is remarkable and a must see. And you all know who Jeremy Griffith is of course. This lecture is limited to 33 people it’s $40 and here’s a little more information about Victor.

Victor Piña is one of the spanish rising stars. He did not only study the spanish school of magic, he also embodies it. Arturo de Ascanio showed him how to construct a routine, Juan Tamariz taught him how to make it psychologically deceiving and Gabi Pareras made him understand the depth of the art of magic. In his lecture you will see how this three visions collide while learning entertaining tricks and seeing how important every detail is.

An open invitation to all my customers and friends. This Sunday August 22nd at my magic lounge. A magical get together to remember. “My early close friends in magic!” It will probably never happen again, I will be sharing my closest friends in magic spanning 40 years. All the crazy stories I have shared at my store through the years come to life when I get my magic friends to gather together in the flesh
