Squeezing in some time out in the deer woods before heading back to Vermont - daydreaming of cold fronts, early mornings and late afternoon sits. The corn and bean fields are looking promising and you can’t throw a stick without hitting good deer sign. November can’t come soon enough!

Cleaning dead heads is just as satisfying as working on fresh harvests - they deserve the same amount of effort and a space on your wall just as much as an animal you pulled the trigger on!

As moose season approaches I want to congratulate everyone who was lucky enough to pull a tag - I have enough space to take in a handful of Euro Mounts this fall and will be keeping it tight. I am not doing shoulder mounts at this time but for anyone who may be looking to have one done see my friend Ryan at Ryan Lewis - he would love to help you out with that!
