At each Central Ohio location we provide a place for Franklin county residents to drop off yard trimmings for free all year round. All Kurtz Bros locations, except Alexandria, accept yard waste for recycling. There is a nominal fee. $5 for car with no trailer. $15 for a pickup truck OR Trailer. $30 for a truck AND trailer. $60+ for larger vehicles. Please note that any logs larger than 18" in diameter or 6' in length can only be dropped off at 777 Frank Rd at a cost of $45 per ton. We do not accept root balls or stump grindings mixed with dirt at any locations. Our current hours are 7am-5pm Mon-Fri and 7-noon on Saturdays, closed Sundays. Our Delaware, Dublin, Frank Rd and Nursery will begin closing at 5pm Monday through Friday beginning Monday July 13, 2026. Westerville will remain open until 6pm. In addition, the Nursery is changing their Saturday hours to 7-Noon. The Saturday hours for the other locations will remain unchanged for the time being.
