Using an electric auger with 4 inch long by 2 inches wide plug. We planted close to 2000 trees this spring.

Moira and I walked through the trees this week and took over 600 tags off trees we had marked for sale for our 2025 season...looks like we should have another great season this year!

When Mazi was 1 and a half we tried to show her how to properly carry a cat, but she always carried it like this first photo. The cat grew to not mind it and they grew to be the best of buddy's. It's always a great reunion when Mazi comes back to our farm...the cat hears her voice and they reunite.

Come on out to Snowy Ridge Christmas Tree farm for your pre-cut or cut your own Christmas tree, we have marked for sell over 2000 trees! The log cabin will be open with one of a kind Christmas crafts and lavender products from LoLayLar farm. There will be a bonfire and marshmallows ready to toast, plus our complementary hot chocolate, coffee and cookies. Both zip lines are running great (one designed especially for the little ones). We’ll have plenty of help on hand to shake, bale and tie your tree to your vehicle (with or without a rack:)). Hours are 9:00 am to 5 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we also offer a self-serve Monday through Thursday with a cash box for checks or cash…the shaker, baler and twine are available for your use. Santa will be visiting Snowy Ridge both Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 till 5;00, plus we are offering hayrides into the trees!

We had a great weekend this past weekend with offering our pre-cut trees only...the weather was awesome. We are officially opening up this weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday Nov. 28th, 29th and 30th, and every Fri-Sunday till Christmas, from 9 am till 5 pm.. During the week we offer a self-serve system Monday through Thursday and your welcome to use the bailer, shaker and twine. On the weekends we'll have the cabin warmed up with plenty of one of a kind crafts and lavender products from LoLayLar farm. Lots for kids to do...two zip lines (one especially design for little ones, a tree fort, bonfire with marshmallows to toast and as aways our complementary hot chocolate, coffee and cookies. We always have plenty of help on hand to shake, bale and tie your tree to your vehicle (with or without a rack).
Finally we are selling fresh cut pre-cuts next to Little Bird Plants 520 E. Terhune street, with a portion of every tree sold going to the 6th grade Pleasant Ridge Class.

We cut our pre-cut trees this week so they would be as fresh as possible. We are selling pre-cut trees this year at two places. At Little Bird Plants 520 E. Terhune St. and at our home farm E7740 Hastings ln, Westby. Both places will have trees starting this Saturday and Sunday, and offering pre cut trees till Christmas.
