When my kids were little, we were always making something.
Cardboard box cars in the living room. Tiny characters from scraps of fabric and paper.
Looking back now, I realize it was never really about the finished project.
Crafting taught them how to think. How to solve problems. How to keep trying when something did not work the first time. How to make something from almost nothing.

Now they are 26 and 29, and I see that creativity in how they move through life.
I truly believe making things by hand matters more than we realize.

I hope more parents make time for crafting with their kids. Not for perfection. Just for the experience of creating together.
