Horseshoe Crabs population is declining to historic lows. In Connecticut in 2023 Gov. Lamont passed a statewide ban on the hand-harvesting of horseshoe crabs or their eggs from Connecticut waters. Save the Sound is fighting for protections for horseshoe crabs sound-wide. Project Limulus’ is a program to tag and record data.
