The BORO Sugar Shack is more than a candy store—it’s a student-centered vocational learning lab where students of The BORO Program gain real-world employment skills through hands-on experience in retail.

Through the store, students build skills in communication, task performance, workplace safety, financial literacy, and community engagement while developing confidence and preparing for future volunteer, internship, and employment opportunities.

Our motto is simple: Be Sweet, Give Sweets, Impact Lives!
