Why "Rubber Mallet Comics"? It all started years ago when Chuck Rowles devoloped characters for a Role-Playing group he and his friend were playing. Creating a Pantheon for the planet the RPG took place on, "The Gods Of Arr-Kelaan" were born, and the comic soon followed. Most of the time, the main 'hero' is Ronson - middle-aged, apathetic, sloppy... pretty much everything a god shouldn't be. His

'Rubber Mallet Comics' became the brand name for Chuck's GoA comics, and soon after other projects, he renamed it to 'Rubber Mallet Productions'. When the time came to buy an actual brick and mortar comic book store, many name ideas were thrown around. 'CR Comics' (get it? "See Our Comics"), 'Thor's Hammer', and a bunch of others. 'Rubber Mallet Comics' seemed to fit the bill nicely. It sounds fun and snappy, and it starts up conversations! Plus, we aready had the domain name (rubbermalletcomics.com and rmcomics.com) LOL!
