Homemade waffles are delicious and they freeze well!

Allow them to cool on a wire rack after cooking, then stack them into a freezer bag, and freeze. When you need some just pop them in the toaster for a quick, easy, and delicious breakfast on a busy morning ☀️

Today’s tip: when making mountain pies, don’t forget the secret upgrade: add a small pad of cream cheese right into your fillings before toasting.

Made a delicious batch of protein waffles this morning on the 1130 waffle iron!

Recipe
6 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
2 Cups Flour
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Cup Whole Milk
4 Eggs
1 Cup Greek Yogurt OR 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Optional: add ins like chocolate chips, blueberries, strawberries ...

Preheat your C. Palmer Mfg. 1130 Waffle Iron
1. Melt butter and set aside
2. Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and whisk together
3. Add melted butter, milk, eggs, and yogurt to a separate bowl and whisk together
4. Fold wet ingredients into dry
5. Butter or grease your iron
6. Place a small scoop of batter on the center of each side of the iron, close and latch, allow to cook until steam slows, open to check desired brownness
