So over the last few years that we have been in business, we have met with a lot of people that have purchased appliances from private sellers. ALWAYS use EXTREME caution when buying from a private seller. Make sure they are plugged in so you can test them, otherwise your leaving it all up to luck. When you buy from a private seller, all they have to do is say “well, it was working when I sold it to you” and they wash their hands from all legal obligation.

Also consider that it’s always possible they were working when they were sold to you, something could have happened during transportation or moving them Into your laundry room or maybe, they just actually happen to break when you got them. Anything is possible with used appliances!

Even if you don’t purchase anything from us, it’s always best to purchase from a store that will give you a written warranty so you at least have a physical location to go to and proof of your warranty.
