Whether you know me for my Floral artistry, my Original Watercolor & Illustration Art + Meditation Kits, my handmade Flora & Fauna Botanical Curiosities, or my love for curating Vintage treasures, each of my crafts has deep meaning to me. As I evolve as an Artist & business owner, I am beginning to acknowledge that having a range of mediums is sort of a superpower. For years I felt almost embarrassed by how many different things I did and made. Well-intended folks advised (even encouraged) me to “just pick one”, or that it was “confusing” and “overwhelming” that I did so many things under the same umbrella. I realize now that none of that is true. It’s just who I am as a creative moving through this world & what makes me and Halcyon Heroine so unique. I’m learning to feel proud of that instead of insecure (baby steps)
As I move into this new season as an Artist, I’m excited to begin offering my Art as a form of Floral Preservation to all of my Floral Design clients! Whether we dry some of your blooms to use in a custom Flora & Fauna cloche, or press a few special flowers to incorporate into an original Watercolor mixed media piece, or perhaps capture the flowers I used in your designs in a custom hand-illustration + painting instead (a perfect option if I’ve already flowered for you in the past!) There are so many ways I can lean into the things I love to do to continue creating meaningful Art for folks beyond their celebrations

Even if you have dried or pressed flowers you’ve been holding onto from a special memory, I can work with those too! The first piece featured here includes some flowers that the bride saved + dried from a very important day spent with her Mom & it was a true honor to be able to include them in this centerpiece, now a treasured item in her home
