The kitchen is officially in tomato season mode. 🍅❤️

Yesterday was a big one — 21 quarts of stewed tomatoes put up and ready for the pantry.

Today it’s all about the sauce.

The pot is cooking down, getting thicker by the minute, and the jars are getting ready for the canner.

There’s just something satisfying about seeing all that garden and farm-fresh goodness turn into shelves of food for the months ahead.

A lot of work? Absolutely.
Worth it when winter comes around? Every single time. 🍅

These little mice have WAY too much personality for a kitchen shelf. 🐭😂

Vintage McCoy mouse pottery — marked McCoy and in beautiful condition.

I have the matching salt & pepper shakers, cream and sugar set, and several of the wonderfully quirky mouse plate-and-cup sets.

They’re fun, useful, collectible, and just unusual enough to be the kind of vintage piece people remember.

Perfect for a retro kitchen, a McCoy collection, or honestly anyone who likes decor with a little humor tucked into it.

Just a little garden sunshine for your feed today. 🌼

My calendula is blooming beautifully right now — so many shades of yellow, gold, peach, and orange all mixed together.

I love growing plants that are beautiful and useful, and calendula checks both boxes. It brightens up the garden, keeps producing when I harvest it, and gives me plenty to dry and put to use later.

Definitely one of those plants I’m always glad I made room for. 🧡🌿

A little vintage charm from Japan 🌸

This sweet Mikasa Kabuki creamer and covered sugar bowl set dates to the late 1970s–early 1980s and features the delicate floral design from Mikasa’s discontinued Kabuki L9011 pattern.

Made in Japan, these pieces have that soft, graceful look that works beautifully with vintage china, tea collections, cottage-style decor, or simply displayed on a shelf between uses.

The covered sugar bowl and creamer are both in the matching pattern and make such a pretty little pair. 🫖

Some pieces just have a little extra charm… and these definitely do. ✨

I have four of these decorative gold-tone wire baskets, each with handles on the sides and a beautiful ceramic cherub scene set into the bottom.

They have such a romantic, old-world look — the kind of piece that could work beautifully with angel decor,
😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇

vintage-inspired decorating, a holiday display, or simply sitting out year-round for someone who loves cherubs.

And with Christmas decorating already starting to creep into everyone’s minds, I can absolutely picture these filled with greenery, ornaments, pinecones, rolled linens, or even used as part of a pretty centerpiece. 🎄✨

But they’re definitely not just for Christmas.

If angels and cherubs are your thing, these might be calling your name. ❤️

This table almost ended up in the trash
not my trash ... it was a rescue ♥️✔️♥️

And honestly, that would have been such a shame.

It was solid wood — sturdy, beautiful, and absolutely
WAS worth saving — so instead of letting it be thrown away, we brought it
HOME & BACK to life.

The pedestal was completely rebuilt, the table was refurbished and renewed, and two new leaves were handcrafted specifically for it- that are easily removable....

Closed, it’s a beautiful round pedestal table that works perfectly for everyday meals or a smaller space.

Add the handmade leaves and it opens into a roomy oval table ready for family dinners, holidays, game nights, and all those extra chairs that somehow show up around the table. ❤️

This isn’t a piece that was simply cleaned up and resold.

It was rescued. Rebuilt. Renewed.

Solid wood.
Handcrafted repairs.
Two custom-made leaves.
One-of-a-kind.

And now it’s ready to become somebody else’s gathering place.

A little vintage color for the shelf ❤️🍎

This beautiful red glass apple, still tucked in its original box, was too pretty to leave behind in a friend's stash!

The deep red glass with its gold-tone stem and green leaf gives it such a classic vintage look.

And underneath it?

A stack of vintage Pyrex Corning Fleur de Lis tableware with that bold red-and-black border — such a fun retro combination.

I love acquiring pieces like these that don’t necessarily belong together… but somehow look like they were meant to be displayed together.

Both the glass apple and the vintage Pyrex pieces are available in Booth 22 The Refindary Vintage Market

Did you know your tea should be covered while it steeps? 🫖☕️

Covering your cup helps hold in the heat while your tea is brewing and also keeps those wonderful aromatic oils from escaping with the steam. It’s such a simple little step, but it can make a difference in the flavor and aroma of your finished cup.

And of course… why use a plain cover when you can use one this cute? 😊
I have several designs and colors available

I have these fun silicone tea cup covers in the booth — just set one over your mug while your tea steeps, then remove it when you’re ready to enjoy.

A cute little gift for a tea lover… or for yourself. 💕
