Mobile Bicycle Doctor is a Fargo family owned business. I, John LaVoi, and my daughter McKenna want to share our cycling experiences and promote safe riding in the local community. We figure the best way to accomplish this is to assist others in getting their bicycles' wheels turning again.
Since receiving my first hand-me-down bike, a Yellow John Deere, I have been riding and getting my hands dirty with repairs. After the flood of ‘97 in Grand Forks, I took this passion to Scheels. For 22 years I learned repairs as well as selling, fitting and buying bicycles. I am extremely grateful for the learning experiences that Scheels and Don Doesher have provided. This has strengthened my versatility in the cycling industry. McKenna has picked up this passion as well, and we both enjoy riding and fixing bikes together.
Today, we are dedicated to assisting the Fargo-Moorhead area in getting bikes back on the road or gravel! We are well-versed in all aspects of cycling including maintenance of adult and kid bikes of all styles, such as road, mountain, hybrids, and cyclocross bikes. We would be happy to help with sizing and fitting of bicycles to make sure you are riding a bike that fits YOU to ensure your joints can continue riding for many years to come. Additionally, we welcome general bicycle questions of any sorts and are enthusiastically prepared to consult on any bike issues that may arise for you.
