🛍️🇺🇸 Another Day Closer to Fireworks Night and Another Big Announcement!! 🇺🇸🛍️

We like the word FREEDOM!! but one word we might like better is “FREE” !!

So we’d like to announce that In conjunction with West Branch Township the Market at the West Branch Commons will be FREE to setup at!!

All you need to do is fill out an application and on Saturday July 11th from 9am till whenever you sell out or want to call it a day 2,3,4,5 pm you can sell your farm goods, crafts, food products, flowers, or other things you can think of 100% Free. Includes covered 10x20 foot space and electric.

50% OFF, 50% OFF, 50% OFF

For the remainder of the 2026 season the Daily rate for a 10ft x 20ft space has dropped from $30 to $15 !! Thanks to the West Branch Township Board for the rate reduction 👍

This includes covered space, better parking, and electric available!!

The monthly rental rate is $100.00 for two days per week for four weeks in a month this works out to $12.50 a day!! Also includes same covered space, better parking, and electric!!

Let us not forget the winery is right next to the market and they have outdoor seating so your space will be seen 👍.

A Big Thank you goes out to Rich Heavlin and Moonlight Graphics for getting the West Branch Commons main sign and West Branch Commons rules signs done!!

The signs went from design to completed in about a week which is impressive. So Thanks to Moonlight Graphics for that we are impressed!!

The West Branch Commons main sign (5ft x 6ft) will be up in the coming weeks between the road and sidewalk near the entrance along with the rules signs (3ft x 3ft) around the property.

The Rose Valley Winery will also be installing their permanent main sign in the coming weeks on the building. They did a Great Job honoring the historic former West Branch Steel logo with their modern design and it’ll look good having their sign in the same old location on the building as the former West Branch Steel Logo.

West Branch Commons Sidewalk:

As many can see the sidewalk that stretches in front of The Commons to the corner of M-76 just stops at the intersection.

West Branch Township Clerk Hickmott sat down with MDOT on how to correct this issue and how we could get The Commons Sidewalk to the Townships main non-motorized pathway system.

It was learned that the sidewalk can not cross right at the corner of M-76 and The business loop because of 4 lanes (two traffic, one turn, & left turn). It was suggested by MDOT that the sidewalk turn and go down the east side of the Business Loop to Flowage lake road where there is only three lanes.

The image attached is an initial concept / design for the sidewalk extension and proposed crosswalk. The idea includes a cross walk and a curb island where people wait if traffic is heavy in both lanes.

This is a similar concept used in multiple communities including Ga***rd. We will provide more information as the concept / design progresses.
