We are having some problems with receiving deliveries while we undergo our business transition.

We don't know who or how, but someone reported to FedEx and UPS that our businesses (both Grey Wolf Armory and Geeky Ferret) were permanently closed. This has caused several shipments to be sent back to the sender and others to be held at central facilities.

Neither business is closed and there are signs posted to ring the doorbell for deliveries. So, to whoever did this, I hope Karma comes back three-fold and smacks you with its flip-flop.

Grey Wolf Armory is no longer open at its retail location. We will be maintaining office space here to accommodate our web-site sales which will continue.

Orders for non-gun merchandise will be delivered to your home. We will be doing deliveries twice a week to the local area. This will prevent porch pirates from getting your stuff.

Firearm orders will continue to be processed here *by appointment* until we open the new hobby/game store at this location. The Geeky Ferret should be having a soft-open shortly with a full ribbon cutting and Grand Opening expected to occur around September 1.

We are holding a clearance sale starting now and through July. Everything in the store is discounted.

Grey Wolf Armory's owners have made the executive decision to cease retail, customer-facing operations in order to concentrate on manufacturing custom handguns and rifles on a contract basis for individuals and distribution. So, while we will no longer be maintaining a storefront, we are NOT going out of business. Just changing what we do.

The owners have also decided to repurpose the retail space for a Hobby and Gaming shop. Wesley Chapel sorely needs one as there really isn't anything like that in our area.

So welcome to The Geeky Ferret, Hobbies and Games. We will be offering an array of hobby products like remote control cars/drones/aircraft, plastic model kits, miniatures, paints and tools, as well as an array of tabletop games like Warhammer and D&D. A separate gaming room will be available to rent tables to have extended gaming sessions and one of those will be equipped for streaming (if you want to jump on the Critical Role bandwagon). We will also be offering custom 3d printing services for personalized miniatures, diorama pieces, dice towers, etc.

And, of course, we will have nerdy snacks and drinks on hand for those long gaming sessions. Parties will be able to be reserved, too, with catering from our nearby restaurants available.

If all goes well, The Geeky Ferret will be holding its grand opening on August 1.

A few days ago the ATF published a new rule to the Code of Federal Regulations which will be going into effect in about 20 days.

Basically, this new rule makes private sales of fi****ms a felony under almost all circumstances. Once this goes into effect, you can only legally sell a common firearm through a licensed firearm dealer.

So to be plain:
No private sales of any "self-defense/personal-protection" fi****ms.
No private sales where you make a profit on the sale of the gun
No private sales where you repeatedly buy and sell same or similar fi****ms.
No private sales of fi****ms if you hold or have EVER held or been an authorized agent on an FFL license (so yeah, if you ever worked at a gun store where you could sign the 4473, you can't privately sell a firearm any more even if you don't work there any longer)
No private sales of fi****ms taken from inventory of an FFL by an employee.

And if you use the "liquidating a private collection" exception, you can never buy a firearm again to maintain that exception. Liquidation of a collection means PERMANENT ending of firearm ownership.

And NO, this is not like the pistol brace rule where the ATF made up changes themselves. Congress actually DID change the law and the ATF is simply taking those changes and implementing them to their most extreme possible application. So, this is unlikely to get overturned on procedural grounds by any court.

Now before anyone posts a comment giving me a hassle over this, I will point out that this is not my opinion. This is the analysis of Armed Attorneys, who are lawyers that handle gun cases (video linked)... so I suggest you watch that as they go into more detail.

Some customers may have noticed that we now have two reserved parking spaces in front of the shop. We tried our best to put this off for as long as we could, but the number of complaints by Grey Wolf Armory customers that they were unable to find parking, especially on busy weekends, has grown to a point that we can no longer put this off.

The reserved parking spaces also address another customer concern with having to walk across the parking lot to distant spaces while carrying fi****ms. I am sure people can agree that these days having people walking 200 feet across a parking lot carrying an AR-15 is not a good visual. So hopefully this will help alleviate that too.

We have added video surveillance of the designated parking spaces for added security for our customers as well.

Our lease allows us to have four spaces for our exclusive use, so for now we are just going to designate two. We ask customers to keep these spots available to those that are loading or unloading fi****ms from their vehicles as much as possible.

Yes, we will be towing violators of the reserved parking signs after giving them one written warning. The parking lot is private property, not public. And yes, the Florida statutes allow this. F.S. 715.07(5)(g) allows a property owner or leasee to remove vehicles from the property if they obstruct normal operation of a business.

We will be closed on Tuesday 3/19/2024 as we perform our civic duty as a Pasco County Special Deputy at the primary elections. We will resume normal business hours on Wednesday.

We are truly saddened to have to report that one of our longtime customers and great friends of the family has passed away after a long battle with various health challenges.

Doc Riley was a true patriot and veteran of the Armed Forces and Past Master of the Zephyrhills Shriners. He will be laid to rest next week at the Bushnell National Military Cemetary.

Please have his family in your thoughts and prayers.

GREY WOLF ARMORY will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, February 6 and 7 as we mourn the loss of our mascot and companion, Maka. Many of you have met her in our shop on days when she was there.

Maka passed away peacefully tonight at just over 13-years old after a 2+ year battle with cancer. We will certainly miss our little Aussie.
