Confession: I have to look at our website like every day to remind myself where I’m supposed to be and what I’m supposed to doing. Sooooo I wondered if you might like some reminders, too!

📚 Our teacher wish list project is in full swing! Rover’s parked in front of the shop and ready to store LOOOOOOOOOTS of books for our Wentzville School District teachers. Shop online (link in bio) or in the shop by Saturday, August 15.

💗 Saturday, August 15 is also Bookstore Romance Day! Hit the link in our bio to find out what fun stuff we have planned for you!

🍕Our Summer Challenge BINGO ends on August 31! Please bring in your cards that week so I know how many grownups are coming to the pizza party, so I know how many mini-totes to order, and so your kiddos can get their snow cone coupon before the season ends for LILLYS SNOW CONES & MORE🧊🥤💜 .

👨‍🍳 Our Book Club schedule for the rest of August and September is up and ready for you! (There’s still time to register for next Wednesday’s cookbook club, which is going to be so.much.fun.)

I continued my Missouri Indie Bookshop Tour today! YAY!

I was all over the place: Read A Book STL, Left Bank Books, Subterranean Books, , ANCHOVY BOOK CO, The Novel Neighbor, and Leviathan Bookstore.

As a new bookshop, it’s so inspiring to walk into long-established and wildly successful shops like these.

And every time I visit another indie, I can’t help but daydream about what Double Dog 3.0 is going to be like. (Which isn’t happening anytime soon, unless one of y’all has a big pile of money with my name on it. 😅 But Prince Jack Hartnett and I have biiiiiiiig ideas.)

What’s been your favorite tour stop? (Not Double Dog, sillies. You can have a different favorite and I’ll still love you!)

Here’s how this works for teachers:

1️⃣ Please complete our form ⭐️ by Friday, August 7. ⭐️ https://forms.gle/K9FvUdyTKzzvuxvZ8

2️⃣ I’ll make your wish list available online and in-store starting Monday, August 10.

3️⃣ People will buy books for your classroom August 10-15.

4️⃣ You’ll pick up your goodies from the shop beginning August 20.

5️⃣ When you come in, remind me to add a 10% discount to your Double Dog account. 💛 (Yes, this is new!)
