Back in my Free Bird Vintage studio sewing away! Having fun with some kitschy 50’s fabrics, along with a beautiful piece of crewel work, all made into decorative throw pillows. Also working with some wonderful old barkcloth patterns that are perfect for tote bags with matching zippered clutches. Lots more in the works!

Feeling inspired with spring officially here! I’m loving these colorful fabrics from my vintage collection and I especially love the hummingbird purse handles (vintage, of course!) that have been waiting for just the right fabric to come along! Thank you, thank you, to all of you who stopped by the Free Bird Vintage tent at the Holiday Market yesterday! It was wonderful to see everyone and I can’t thank you all enough for supporting my small business. A huge thanks to the organizers of this event, which continues to grow and attract more talented vendors and crowds of patrons. It was a great day!

After a long winter’s nap, Free Bird Vintage is gearing up for Spring! I’m feeling inspired by these wonderful juvenile-themed vintage fabrics and ready to start creating! Free Bird Vintage (me) has been busy creating piles of pillows to add that festive touch to your home this holiday season! These are all made using textiles from my collection of vintage materials. Spring has sprung at Free Bird Vintage….here’s a sneak peek! Working with some gorgeous vintage barkcloth fabrics that are perfect for tote bags, some with matching zippered clutches. Vintage celluloid purse handles finish the look along with beaded and tassel pulls. More to come!
