Izzy's Fresh Eggs Beautiful farm fresh eggs! Our large, diverse flock includes dozens of breeds to create our colorful palette of eggs.

Why are the eggs in bags instead of cartons? It is more economical and more sanitary to use clean bags than it is to reuse egg cartons. Also, the largest eggs won't fit in a carton. As many of you know, it is not uncommon to get an extra egg in your bag!

Our flock of chickens is molting (shedding older, damaged feathers to grow new ones). So—lots of nearly naked hens. If anyone has bags of dog or cat food (open or expired is fine) that they don’t want or need or that your pets don’t like, we would be happy to take them. The higher protein helps with the molting process and gets them back to laying eggs.

It’s that time of year again … our chickens LOVE to eat pumpkins, so whenever you are through with yours, you can stop by Izzy's Fresh Eggs and drop them off or you can call us and we'll come and get them.
They also love any leftovers from the garden— zucchini, squashes, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc … and apples (including drops!).

Looks like we got a random broiler chick in the last batch. Anyone want her when the time comes? She’s already 5x bigger than the rest of the chicks.
