Meet with staff of area service agencies to access support and services right in Groton.

Department for Children & Families – Economic Services Division Office Hours:
Thursday May 21st
Meet with an ESD Eligibility Specialist in person! Division staff will be available to help you with questions about your case, applying for benefits and completing or updating your application. Get information about 3SquaresVT, ReachUP/PSE, Fuel Assistance, and the Essential Persons Program. No appointment necessary.

Drop In Blood Pressure Screening
Thursday May 28th
Nearly half of U.S. adults have high blood pressure and many don’t even know they have it. Stop by this FREE drop clinic to have your blood pressure checked by a visiting nurse from Little Rivers Healthcare. Little Rivers is not medically responsible. This service is limited to blood pressure checks only. If readings seem outside of normal range, individuals should contact their primary care provider.

Vermont Department of Labor Office Hours
Thursday June 4th
Shelley from the Vermont Department of Labor visits us monthly to assist patrons who are seeking jobs, and also employers seeking employees. Shelley also offers assistance with filing unemployment benefits and other paperwork.
Northeast Kingdom Community Action Office Hours

Thursday June 11th
Rena from Northeast Kingdom Community Action visits the Groton Library every month. Rena can share information about and help you with: housing, rental assistance, economic services applications, referrals to other programs.

Thursday June 11th
Mary - Catherine will be on site from Efficiency Vermont to talk with community members about programs available to help reduce the cost of utility bills.
