When you own your own business, maternity leave sums up to around 2 weeks 😂😂

Good thing I love my job, and baby Skye is a relatively good napper (knock on wood, I can’t believe I said that out loud!), so even when I wasn’t making chocolates, I was still thinking about chocolates and planning this Halloween collection!

Like every year, due to how intricate and labor intensive these designs are, stock is limited, so I highly recommend ordering early

🚨 Breaking news 🚨

I’ve officially launched my sweetest product yet… and her name is Skye. 🍫💗

After a very long R&D cycle (9 months, to be exact), she finally went to market last week.

Unlike ChocAllure chocolates, though, there were:

- No instructions

- Very loud sound effects at all hours 🤯

- And definitely no refunds 😉

Still, early customer feedback (from mom, dad, and grandparents) is 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

And don’t worry - while I settle into this new “co-founder” role, ChocAllure chocolates are still being crafted with love (and a touch of sleep deprivation).

When I started ChocAllure, I thought I'd become the ultimate Valentine’s Day romantic. After all, I’m literally surrounded by hearts, kisses, and everything pink or red.

By the time February 14th rolls around, I’ve crafted, filled, and polished more chocolate hearts than Cupid himself could handle. So instead of candlelit dinners, I’m perfectly content to spend the evening doing absolutely NOTHING.

And you know who’s delighted about this? My husband. No dinner reservations, no last-minute flower runs — he’s officially the most low-maintenance Valentine on the planet. One year he actually said, "Are you sure I don't need to do anything? Because this is amazing." 😂

To all the chocolatiers, florists, and romantics who work overtime spreading love this season — I see you, and I hope you treat yourself on the big day too!

🌍 Ever wondered how we chocolatiers are handling skyrocketing cocoa costs? 🍫

With cacao prices climbing to unprecedented levels this year, the impact on the industry has been substantial. I’ve already seen a 25% increase in the cost of chocolate, with another 47% (😭😭😭) hike looming in September.

As a Valrhona Cercle V chef, I’m committed to using only the finest, ethically sourced chocolate, but these price surges are affecting us all.

All the stages in making our caramallow cupcakes (well almost all, completely forgot to videotape making and piping the caramel layer 🤣)

I'm thrilled to share this feature from the Boston Globe of my store opening in 87 central st in Wellesley- it is such a huge milestone for me!

To provide some context, back in 2020, I launched ChocAllure, an online chocolate boutique. Rather than simply being another chocolate shop, I aimed to blend my expertise in French patisserie with chocolate making, to create miniature desserts encased in chocolate, with flavors like creme brulee, dark chocolate mousse and more.

For years, having a physical storefront has been a dream, but commercial real estate is daunting with its five-year leases and considerable expenses. Then, towards the close of 2023, an opportunity arose to partner with two fellow business owners to secure a shared storefront in Wellesley—and I seized it eagerly!

The store offers exclusive products not available on the website due to shipping limitations, such as "caramallow cupcakes" and creme brulee truffles. It's also a space where I can explore exciting new creations. I'd be delighted if you could drop by; this Wednesday, I'll be unveiling the Mother's Day wine-infused collection alongside caramel-dark chocolate tart hearts.
