Moon Mountain Provisions went to sleep a while ago, and I have decided to let it lie. However, I still have a desire to share my creations, but on a limited basis. I'll be doing that with Wy'east Woman.

I'm taking a much different approach than before. Burnout hit me bad and trying to have a "business" in addition to working ful time is just not sustainable.

I'm still inspired to create - not just "herbalist" products - but other things as well inspired by both my home and travels. Hence my focus back on Wy'east Woman, which I never truly left.

I still don't have a clear picture of what it's going to look like, and will evolve as time passes, much like I have. I'm excited to see where it might go. Stay tuned for future offerings.

Elderberry Elixir Tea - When you need an immune boost, but, making a batch of elderberry syrup is not for you.

All the ingredients in my classic syrup kit - elderberries, rosehips, ginger, reishi mushrooms and cinnamon - paired with Hood Hills Farm anise hyssop and Oshala Farm nettles.

Just add a heaping spoon of honey, and it's like a batch of elderberry syrup in a cup!

Available all weekend at Wildwood Apothecary in Welches (10-3), or message to order.

If I were to have fresh cottonwood buds available for purchase at Wildwood Apothecary on Sunday, would anyone be interested?

I know many people up here like to make their own medicine, but don't have the time or ability to get out for their own.

I have what I need, but had so much fun hunting for these I'm just looking for a good excuse to go out again. If I can help a few people in the process and cover my gas, it's an added bonus.

Pick up at Wildwood Apothecary on Sunday from 10-3. If you are not local, I can ship for an additional charge. I'm thinking price would be $5 an ounce.

If there's enough demand, I will go Saturday.

Here's your friendly reminder that it's cottonwood bud season!

Spent part of yesterday foraging for these out in the western Columbia River Gorge yesterday! Thanks to the ice storms, they were abundant and easy to find.
