I quickly finished Olof yesterday so he could be given to his intended new owner, my niece, for her birthday. Happy birthday Aleah! I was told I might have managed to hedge out her favorite bear. Brown Bear got left in the car in favor of Olof! That feels pretty awesome! My mom also finished a quilt, that had been in the works since Aleah was a newborn. Brown Bear got a matching mini quilt.

So Olof was set aside as I realized a few days ago Halloween was at the end of the week. I had worked a little on the kids costumes but things crept up on me. So I have been quiet for a while. I wasn't getting much interest on the things I had up on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/shop/AGiftFromGrandma so I decided to make a few practice projects of some of the pieces I have wanted to try. Well that turned into making things for my kids and ended up in making a few surprises for family. :) I am not sure if one of them got their package yet but I got confirmation from my brother and Sister-in-Law.
