Stix by Bob are one-of-kind walking sticks handcrafted by stickdresser Bob Von Almen of Louisville, Kentucky. From his log home nestled in the k***s of southwest Jefferson County, Bob hikes miles in search of the perfect honeysuckle-entwined saplings for his sticks during the winter months while the sap is not running. After a straightening and drying period, each sapling is debarked and sanded fo

r a smooth finish revealing the beautiful look and feel of the wood. This is Bob’s favorite part of the process as it allows him to give each stick its own personality. Five coats of water-based polyurethane are applied to allow each stick to shine and last for many generations. Owning one of Bob's Stix is like buying a work of art on a sturdy hiking and walking partner suited for strolls in the park or hikes in the woods. Sticks vary in length from 50 to 60 inches and include a rubber tip. All of Bob’s Stix include his signature bee! Please feel free to email with questions or comments. FUNNY FARM ALPACAS NO LONGER SELLS ALPACAS because we have stopped our breeding program and are here to care for and give our RETIRED ALPACAS a home. We also care for some special needs alpacas here on the farm. So we allow the public to come and enjoy them with FREE ALPACA VISITS!
Walk right into their pen and feed the Alpacas their favorite treats. Take lots of great pictures!!!!!
WE ARE OPEN FROM FRIDAY THRU MONDAY FROM 10-2 EVERY WEEK. NO RESERVATION NEEDED UNLESS FOR 12 PEOPLE OR MORE.

Great place to bring the kids, grandkids and guests from out of town!
