The Weed Store is country store that serves the community of Weed, NM and the surrounding area. We have a wide selection of grocery and convenience store products, as well as unleaded and diesel fuels. A copy machine, microwavable meals, snacks and wifi is also available. There was a recent change in ownership, so please come and see whats new at the Weed Store!

Rescheduled Electric Outage – Tuesday, July 29, 2025 (Weather Permitting)

OCEC crews will be taking an outage to replace a structure on the transmission line that feeds the Cloudcroft Substation on July 29, 2025, from 9 AM to 5 PM. All members in Cloudcroft, Timberon, Pinon, W**d, Mayhill, Sacramento, James Canyon, and Hwy. 244 coming out of Cloudcroft will be without power during this time.

A structure on the transmission line feeding the Cloudcroft Substation must be replaced after being vandalized by gunfire, severely compromising the integrity of the structure. Your patience while this critical work is done is appreciated.
