This is Rose of Sharon. Also known as Althea. It’s a large shrub/small tree in the hibiscus family. Blue Chiffon is truly this color… no editing.! The second one is Starblast Chiffon. They’re very hardy and bloom continuously, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds, midsummer to fall. We have both varieties and they’re in full bloom right now! 🌺

Today we are spotlighting the ECLIPSE hydrangea from First Editions. The vibrant cranberry blooms stand out against the near black, deep purple foliage. The mophead blooms, which grow on both old and new wood, gently fade into a soft, dusty pink to lavender, still making a dramatic showing against the dark leaves. Like the Summer Crush, it prefers morning sun and afternoon shade. Come in and check them out!
