as a therapist, I specialize in helping women who are struggling with Eating Disorders & Trauma/PTSD.
I spend a lot of time speaking about hunger.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
when I started my career I used to rattle through the symptom check how I was trained.
asking questions like-
“are you hungry?”
“are you eating your meal plan?”
“how’s your symptoms?”
[just to name a few]
These questions are SO important. & yet a big piece of the puzzle was missing for me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
as I move towards the milestone of being a clinician for just shy of a DECADE [like how + when did that happen?!?! lol]
my frame is totally different. I find myself, of course, asking the relevant clinical questions & even more importantly asking questions like...
“What does full mean to you?”
“What does full look like to you?”
& friends I’m not [just] speaking about food here. I want to learn more about how someone experiences the sensations of ful(l)-fillment in 👏 their 👏 life 👏

What’s critical to me is what fulfills you.
You know that hunger & drive you feel when your moving towards your passion?
The hunger that wakes you up at 2am?
The fire that pushes you towards your dreams?

I want to hear about that. Learn about that. Explore that.
That feeling. It’s legit contagious 💗

For me. When I’m sitting with clients. Offering a reiki treatment. Curating my next clothing collection. Putting my hands in dirt. Designing a new planter. Creating a custom order. Growing a new plant baby. Writing. Dreaming. Connecting with my tribe. This does it for me.
