I had to stop working on it today due to humidity. I was working with salt in the background and the salt was pulling extra water in. That means the painting won’t dry.

So I’ll try again tomorrow, and maybe the weather will cooperate.

Finally got some time to draw after a busy couple of weeks.

Show season started and was quickly followed by an exhibition at the Asheville Gallery of Art. So this was a delightful gift to myself.

I had a few minutes and sketched my mom’s fuchsia plant. It was tricky at times. It’s a hanging basket and the breeze made it spin. But I love a challenge!
