FOWL Used Bookstore

FOWL Used Bookstore Friends of Weaverville Library F.O.W.L. It is located in the lower level of the Weaverville Library and is staffed entirely by volunteers.

Used Book Store opened its doors in July 2021 as an ongoing fundraiser for the Friends of the Weaverville Library (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization). All proceeds from the store go to enhance the programs and services of the Weaverville Library, a branch of the Buncombe County Public Library System.

Special thanks to the Madison County Library System for this great infographic. Come get your books before the storm this weekend! All blue dot books are only $1 through the end of February.

With everyone else posting their long-term forecast maps for Friday-Sunday, Jan 23-25, (AKA snowpocalypsemageddon), we thought you would want to know the book forecast too. Experts recommend at least 1 book per inch of snow, but your reading mileage may vary. Better stock up Tuesday - Thursday!!

At only 4' 8" tall, Simone Biles' jump clears more than 7 ft of air. Or, in library terms, she could jump over roughly 65 James Patterson books. 🤸‍♀️ 📚 😆
