The customer said our invoice notes were horse 💩, because he just changed his oil, and he checked his air filter before he dropped it off, the exact comment made was "isnt it convenient that you found everything wrong with the unit that is the customers fault, and couldn't be covered under warranty"

The unit is 3 years outside of the warranty period and everything found was in fact customer neglect. The mower is 6 years old. Kawasaki engines have a 3 year warranty.

We haven't seen the mower in 4 years, December of 2022 and it needed a service then, BAD, but customer also declined it.

But on a serious note, remember to maintain your equipment, yearly services are required if you want your product to last. There is not a brand of equipment on the market that you can neglect for years, and it still perform as it did out of the box, and it definitely won't last as long as it should.

If you want ZERO maintenance, then make the move to battery equipment. Don't blame the brand because you failed to upkeep it. It's like blaming your vet for killing your dog, when you haven't fed it for 2 months... makes 0 sense.

Repairs & diagnostic times can take longer when
1. We are not given all the information at drop off
2.You let someone else work on it before bringing it in
3.When you have replaced components with aftermarket parts that are not reputable
4.When there are a LOT of things wrong with the unit
5. The condition of the equipment, if things are seized, rusted, etc it takes longer

So, to help us, help you, be sure you give us all the information, every little bit helps. The less time we have to try to figure it out, the less time you pay for a technician to be on your unit😉

Wanna know what happens to a engine that never gets serviced?

They die.

No matter the brand, no matter how good of grass you have, no matter if you never hit a stick or rock, no matter if you wash the mower and blow it off after every cut, no matter if you keep it in a shed or in a temperature controlled room with a pillow and blanket.

No maintenance, no survivability.
