Are you ready for spring migration?

Next week is our official spring migration kickoff! Time to turn out non-essential lighting and/or following DarkSky Texas lighting recommendations to keep warm, shielded light pointing downward where you need it or on a motion sensor. Since many migratory birds fly at night, turning out lights helps them make their journey!

Remember your bird friend need water to drink and clean their feathers even though its freezing. They have to clean their feathers to fluff up to stay warm. Most of the natural water sources are frozen so you need to provide water for them as well as food.
