If you ever wonder why it sometimes may take a while for your order to be completed this is most likely the reason why:

1- I am a perfectionist and do not like to provide subpar work on any project. It takes a few times to get the details to fit just right sometimes…. While on the rare, unicorn occasion it fits perfectly the first try.

2- I hardly EVER give my first attempt at any new project away as a gift and NEVER as a commission. My 2nd and so one creations of that project are always better, though I usually still make adjustments. The one of the right was my 1st ever attempt as a Christmas gift last year and while i was definitely not satisfied with it, and it was my first (aka prototype as i call it), i let it go. Meanwhile fhe left one took about the same amount of time, but with a different pattern than the first, and was my 2nd attempt just recently.

3- I don’t always have the same time for projects as I do with others, despite dedicating at least an hour or so a day to a project. Most my work is completed on the weekends. I do my best to finish in a timely manner though 😅

So if you place an order with me, just know you will receive the best of my current ability… it may take a little while to get it. Handmade items come from the hands and heart. 🥰 mf

5 weeks of work, 1 time completely starting over once I found the actual pattern, and 1 very adorable amigurumi set later this big guy and his array of snacks is ready to make his way to a local teacher for her kindergarten class! This was such an adorable idea and I’m absolutely in love with it! The hardest parts were the Swiss cheese, watermelon and cherry pie… that and playing yarn chicken 🙃 thank you to on Etsy for this wonderful pattern!

Yall this crochet project I’ve worked on for the last 3-4 weeks is FINALLY coming together!! 😍 I’m on the last piece of it and I’m so excited to finish it!!! Also, playing yarn chicken is only fun when you have spare yarn in your stash 😅

Jack Skellington came for a visit before he makes his trip to stay with a little girl who loves to watch Nightmare Before Christmas. Maybe Sally or Zero will join him soon… we must wait and see what Sandy Claus brings us this Halloween! 🎃

Wrapping the school year up with a little gift to two very special teachers: the TURTLE-ly best Kindergarten teacher and the BEAR-y best fourth grade teacher. 🥰 I gotta say outta all the amigurumi buddies that have joined crafts by Mo, “Myrtle” the turtle has got to be my personal favorite!

Fun fact: these guys are the same exact base pattern, but one is much larger than the other from experimenting with double stranded stitches! 🤓 what amigurumi buddy would you wanna see make an appearance next?? 🐷 🐦 🦆 🐎 🦊🐰🐵🐸🦄🐙🐘

I didn’t get any fancy pictures of Stitch prior to delivery, but this little guy was super fun to create! I followed a pattern for parts of it, bjt for the most part this was my own pattern (hopefully I can do it again later 😅)

To say this amigurumi testing me and challenged my creativity would do little to describe the number of times i frogged half of it to redo one row! However, this is my very first real life (not life size obviously! 😂) replica! “Whiskers” is a very beloved German Shepard of a sweet woman I know and she absolutely loved this mini Whiskers! He isn’t perfect, but for my first RLR (real life replica) I think he came out just as cute and goofy as the real Whiskers! Now that this baby gift has been delivered I can share it with yall! This was a collaborative project between myself and Crysta Lamb and I absolutely love it! Crysta did the shirt and pants, I did the blankets and hat. 🥰 this set is for a very very special lady, the one who made me an aunt many moons ago and for her soon to be baby boy, Atlas! Macie Wilhite I hope you and Atlas enjoy this for as long as possible! I can’t wait to meet my great nephew! Thank you, crysta for helping me create this beautiful project!
