Love is all around you when you start to look for it.

I’ve always loved the shift in seasons even more, so there is something particular about fall that I’ve always loved. From the change of weather, the colors of the sky, and crisp, cool mornings and evenings. There’s a coziness — that feels like home. There’s a comfort — that feels like Jesus.

Lately, He has been showing, guiding, and teaching me the value of prioritizing rest and seeking the ways I can love the ones closest to me in the ways He would. Ways of patience, kindness, slow to respond & quick to listen.

To learn how to reflect the love of Christ is a continued pursuit through this life.

In this busy season of my life, as I prepare for — I’ve found when Jesus says that He will meet you where you are, He means it. Whether it’s a pocket of time amidst my morning or reflecting on how I called unto Him during my day.

All of these moments I define as “the moments of seeking Love” when, in reality, Love (Jesus) is always seeking you.

So, my friend that feels they are seeking out Jesus with no answer in return. I promise you, He is with you and closer than you could ever imagine. He’s in your conversations, the doors closed, the ones about to open, and every detail He’s written for your story.

A prayer for the one seeking Love:
Heavenly Father, thank you for Your unconditional love. Jesus, I pray that You give me wisdom and peace in this shift of season. I acknowledge that I alone can not carry my weight, so Jesus, I invite you into my burdens. Thank you for hearing my prayers.
In Jesus name,
Amen

My friend — I am praying for you to seek out the Love all around you today & every day after. 🤍

A little over two weeks ago, God's sweet promise over me became a reality.

Jesus truly is the greatest Author.

There were seasons where… I questioned.
There were seasons where… I doubted.
There were seasons where… I was exhausted.

& amidst those seasons in this chapter, God always came through. Time and time again, He gave me strength when I was weary. He gave me joy when my faith was shaken.

He spoke words of encouragement over & over. Now I realize he was silent sometimes because I needed to slow down to listen.

As I look back on the season I was just in, and now, walking into what is now, I see God clearly in every crevice of this victory.

The people he pruned.
The people he placed.

The doors He closed.
The doors He made sure swung open.

The times that I doubted.
The times He confirmed.

His hand was in it all.

As I step into this season of my life, I’m beyond excited to see how God will use me as His instrument.

Thank you, Jesus, for being more than able to fulfill the words you speak over us. 🤍

“Remember for a moment when you first fell in love.
& when you first fell in love with God.
nothing seemed impossible; nothing was foolish. that simple gesture or nudge of affection.
In this season, all He wants is for you to resurrect your love & live as new creations.”
— Pastor John, 04/09/2023

Easter service has always been one of my favorite masses of the year. There’s something precious & special about the joy that resonates in the church. The endearing sounds of everyone singing “Alleluia!!! He has risen!!!!”

I found myself this morning in that child-like foolish love with the Lord. The same one my pastor, spoke about. The one that wants to sing as loud as I can, dance around in my pew, and smile until my cheeks are a lil sore with the joy of the Good Lord.

It’s a child-like, simple yet bold, foolish love. & oh, how sweet it is.

May this Easter season fill you with the Lord's overwhelming peace, joy, and unconditional outpour of love.

For He himself is love. Allow Him to speak it into your heart today & every day after.

Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” John 13:7

How many times in your life do you find yourself asking Jesus “why”?

While you ponder that thought - I’ll tell you that I’ve had the word “why” pop up in my head more times than I can count.

My friend, you are seen, known, and loved by our Lord.

Even in your questioning, in your fear, and in your thoughts of the unknown.

Jesus… He knows all.

Amidst your questions, He sees clarity.
Amidst your pain, He sees healing.
Amidst your suffering, He sees your testimony.

As we await the Lord’s resurrection and reflect on Jesus' suffering — may we also appreciate the times Jesus allows us to be in our seasons of our “whys” as it’s an invitation to draw closer and nearer to Him.

“I have called you by name. You are mine.”

The sweet words that were placed on my heart as I sat down in the adoration chapel this week.

After a few busy weeks of filled schedules, busy mornings, and late nights - I found myself in a reality check of needing to run back to My Good Father once again.

Naturally, I chatted with my best friend for an accountability check-in & she encouraged me to “sit in His presence and allow Him to gaze upon you.”

Well, that’s just what I did. And He did what He does best, which was welcome His daughter home. 🤍

Invite the Lord into the deepest crevices of your heart - even in the busyness of your days.

Fill your circle with those who radiate the Lord’s light.

Alex is one of those people. Hugs are pure, words are sweet, and joy is always shared. 🤍

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth and find out what pleases the Lord.”

“And then they realized”
Genesis 2:7-9 ; 3:1-7

My pastor today summed up today's readings simply in the description of “the wrestling drama of our salvation”.

& it had me thinking all day… how many days do we “suddenly realize”…

Realize the prayer that has been answered.

Realize the friend you were thinking of gave you a call.

Realize the simplest of joys God places in the little moments of your day.

As we journey through this Lenten season my prayer for myself & all of you is to continually be empowered by the grace that God so graciously gifts each of us.

So here’s to the softening and understanding in our hearts that Jesus came to undo the brokenness in the world.

Oh how beautiful the overflowing love He has in His heart for you.

You will reap. What you sow.

What are you sowing into your daily life? 🤍

A prayer as you sit with the question above:
How can I love You more purely Lord? Teach me to not act out in my emotions but rather to center myself as to how You would respond. Jesus, I come to you asking for a spirit of gentleness and self-control. Help me daily to choose to be a spiritual and natural blessing. Give me the endurance to serve, the strength to be kind, and the courage to pray bold prayers for others. Allow me to not grow weary as I grow into sowing faithful habits into my life. Make me more & more like You each day, Abba.
In Jesus's Name, Amen

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9

A simple intention for you day.
When things feel to go astray.
Just lean in close & I’ll be near.
Promise that I’ll be right here.
I am not far and neither are you.
As soon as you whisper the words:
“Jesus, I trust in you.”

Swipe to see 3 little ways Jesus has loved me this morning. ☁️🕊🤍

Where the Lord guides He provides...

And yes…

It may be a cliché statement to some but when you see Your Good Father “prove” Himself again & again… you see and know that His plan in addition to His guidance will always prevail. 🕊🤍

He equips the called.
He restore the broken.
He finds the lost.
He loves all unconditionally.

My friends and I play this game sometimes called — “how has Jesus loved you today?”

Well this past Sunday… Jesus loved me with a sweet chocolate chip cookie & an amazing cup of coffee after mass. It may be silly to some but somehow He knew just what I needed. 😌☕️☁️

How has Jesus loved you today? I’m tagging my friend Jessica & Tess (, ) to start & then tag someone in the comments to pass it along!🫶🏼

The devil will attempt to do the smallest of things to STOP you:

In this video — I shared a sweet God moment from my week…🤍

The enemy makes roadblocks look like obstacles. Whispers lie of defeat and distraction into our ears. But when God comes into the story He turns our weaknesses into strengths and our trials into triumphs. Delays, detours, and re-routing are all “speed pumps” to God's ultimate plan for your life. Even when the tiniest of detour seems insignificant to you, it all plays into His bigger picture.

What if we began to see inconveniences/roadblocks as an opportunity to hear God say “follow Me”. Or when we hear the enemy whisper a lie in our ear, change the narrative and know that God says “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

When the enemy creeps in we must call on the truths of God:
🤍 That no weapon formed against us will prosper.
(Isiah 54:17)
🤍 That we are made perfect in our weakness.
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
🤍 That God's powers is unlimited.
(Luke 1:37)

So I ask you — what is that “something” new you think God is trying to show you? Is it a different path than yours that is holding you back?

God needs you. And you need Him. Pray for the faith to hear His delicate intimate voice, the wisdom and trust you need to follow Him and let Him lead you. Rest in the Lord. He is waiting for you. 🤍
