THIS is the day when the absurdity of moving Moon Mist Studio to my home really clicks into focus. Fuzzy slippers and getting work done - after I decorate my tree - are totally compatible. Ahh!

Wow! It's been almost 7 years since I began working on Main Street in Canton - and almost 6 years since I started Moon Mist Studio here. I have such deep gratitude for and appreciation of all of you who have kept me busier than I ever imagined possible. Due to the sale of this building yesterday, I will be moving before the middle of August. I'm not sure yet what that is going to look like, but I do anticipate that I will be scaling back my printing activities to make time for some other things. At least for now, I will not be taking new orders until I get my studio settled in its new location. Stay tuned for updates and maybe even a moving sale! 💖

We are feeling incredibly grateful, yet heartbroken. Moon Mist Studio was above the flood levels reached by the Pigeon River yesterday, so we were spared any water damage. It's heartbreaking to be an island in the midst of the devastation wrought by the storm and flooding. My heart goes out to everyone who was more directly impacted as well as to those who share in the heartache of another blow to Canton and Haywood County. 🌈 💔
