Tomorrow, July 4, 2026!! 🎆

July 4th is a family-friendly tradition in Downtown Waynesville where kids shine in the Stars and Stripes Patriotic Kid's Parade.

Parade participants must register, starting at 10:00 a.m. Registration is in-person. The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. in front of the Historic Courthouse. Children are invited to walk, ride decorated bicycles, wagons, scooters, or roller skates (no motorized vehicles), with complimentary decorating materials provided by the Town. The parade concludes with an ice cream social at First Baptist Church, making for a memorable Fourth of July celebration for the whole family.

Main Street remains festive throughout the day with live music for guests to enjoy while strolling Downtown Waynesville’s unique and eclectic variety of shops and restaurants.

Where: In front of the Historic Haywood County Courthouse, Main Street
When: 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Admission is free. ✅

Residents and visitors are invited to gather in the heart of downtown to enjoy authentic mountain music and dance traditions that have entertained generations for decades.
