There was a time I didn’t know if I would make it to the other side of my own mind.

And now here I am…
on a red carpet
speaking about transformation
living the work I once used to survive.

How we think.
How we act.
How we feel.

Creates our personality.
And our personality creates our personal reality.

This didn’t happen overnight.
It happened through nervous system regulation.
Through tears no one saw.
Through choosing growth over comfort.
Through crossing the river of change — alone when I had to.

You can be both elegance and edge.
Depth and fire.
Higher consciousness and heels.

When we change our energy, we change our life.

And I am just getting started.

One of the most underrated teachings in the New Testament isn’t flashy.

It’s this:

Jesus withdrew.

He stepped away from crowds.
He went to the mountains.
He didn’t answer every demand immediately.
He didn’t let urgency dictate his state.

He regulated.

Withdrawal isn’t weakness.
It isn’t avoidance.
It isn’t selfish.

Sometimes it’s stewardship.

Of your mind.
Of your body.
Of your nervous system.

In a world that glorifies constant availability, maybe the most spiritual thing you can do is pause.

Silence isn’t rejection.
Space isn’t punishment.
Rest isn’t laziness.

It’s wisdom.

On Sunday, I stood on a red carpet being interviewed about resilience, healing, and the work that rebuilt me from the inside out.

There was a season of my life where survival was the only goal. I didn’t know if I would make it through.

I don’t take moments like this lightly.

God.
My daughter.
The darkness that brought me to my knees.
The discipline that brought me back to myself.

All of it matters.

The mountain remembers.
And so do I.

Attachment styles are not personality traits.
They are nervous-system adaptations formed early in life.

In childhood, our nervous system learns what to expect from closeness — whether care is consistent, unpredictable, overwhelming, or unavailable. Based on that, it adapts to survive.

These adaptations become what we call attachment styles:
secure, anxious, avoidant, or disorganized.

None of them are flaws.
They are survival strategies.

When attachment patterns go unexamined, they repeat — often hurting both the person enacting them and the person on the receiving end.

The hopeful truth: nervous systems are changeable.

With awareness, regulation, and support, we can move toward secure attachment — where closeness doesn’t require withdrawal or self-abandonment.

I share this to offer hope.
What was learned can be healed.
