June is peak egg laying time for turtles!! Please be cautious and aware of Mamas seeking out a good spot to nest. Often this means they leave the water and head across roads and parking lots (like ours) searching for loose soil and sand. Be on the look out for warning signs like this awesome one courtesy of and drive slowly. If you live in an area where turtle crossings are frequent consider putting up a sign to warn others! Turtles are cool 🐢 Let’s help them out!!
