I was busy last night and one more UFO bit the dust - Mardi Gras designed by Lorene Salt. Now to decide how to frame it. I think maybe not a mat so the sparkly irredescent canvas shows around the edge. What do you think? Not sure what color frame to use - will have to experiment.

I was going to say Good Morning but just looked at the clock and it is afternoon - barely. I will be at the shop today, Wednesday, Thursday and SATURDAY after 9:00 as I have someone who wants to shop then. No Ken appointments this week! We did get some rain the past few days that was needed. I think I can row most of the field crops as I drive into town. Something completely unrelated to stitching. In order to put our new garage up we had to move the swing set we made many years ago when our children were young - don't ask how many ;). Noone uses it any longer as even the grands are past swinging. If anyone is interested in having it - it is yours for the taking. Just let me know. The little house is not included in the offer as that is Rachel's to move. There is a slide that is on top of the steps the fits in front of them. You can put sand under the "fort" part that could use a new tarp on top to provide some shade.

A little dreary today but the rain is good. With Jennifer and Alan's help we got some more trees planted on Sunday and they like a refreshing shower. Well, actually they did all the work and I just pointed to locations. We can't seem to get the deer and rabbits to leave the plants alone especially since we don't have a dog any longer. We've been trying to replace our grove for a couple of years now. Maybe I will try shaving some Irish Spring soap around them. I have heard this could help the chew rate diminish.
Anyway - a good day to work at the shop and I plan to be here Wednesday and Thursday, too, as usual after 10:00. Come on in if you want to shop what's left for 1/2 off regular prices.
