"Spreading Love, One Stitch at a Time" That's me, Tina!

🌟 Welcome to CancerCowsbyTina! 🌟

🧶 Let's embark on a crochet journey that's woven with love, compassion, and creativity. 🧶

✨ Who's the maker behind CancerCowsbyTina? I picked up my first crochet hook back in 2012, during a special time in my life when I was expecting my middle child, Emerald. My crochet adventure began with humble projects like dishcloths, baby booties, and hats, but it didn't t

ake long for the crochet bug to take hold and lead me on an incredible yarn-filled odyssey.

🌈 My crochet universe has expanded from those early stitches to a world filled with blankets that wrap you in warmth and amigurumi toys that burst with personality. I've even discovered the enchanting art of creating delicate doilies and intricate table runners from crochet thread.

🌸 But there's more to my story than just stitches and yarn. The heart of CancerCowsbyTina beats with a profound purpose. It was born as a fundraiser with a mission close to my heart - to bring comfort and joy to the brave children who battle cancer. I believe in the magic of soft, cuddly toys that become cherished companions during treatments and lifelong friends.

💖 Each amigurumi creation at CancerCowsbyTina is a labor of love, meticulously crafted to bring smiles and happiness to those who need it most. It's my way of stitching a little brightness into the world, one cozy creation at a time.

🌟 Thank you for joining me on this crocheting adventure filled with color, compassion, and creativity. Together, we'll share the warmth of handmade treasures and make a difference in the lives of courageous children.

💕 Let's crochet with heart and create moments of comfort and joy that last a lifetime. 💕

🚨 ADULT SUPERVISION HAS OFFICIALLY LEFT THE BUILDING 🚨

After realizing that I have somehow neglected my website since OCTOBER (*𝑐𝑢𝑒 𝑑𝑟𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝑔𝑎𝑠𝑝 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑔𝑔𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑒𝑝𝑎𝑙𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔*), I have decided that tonight is the night.

The website is currently undergoing what can only be described as a semi-constructive, ADHD-powered renovation fueled by determination, creativity, approximately 47 open browser tabs, and an irresponsible amount of Dr Pepper. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Over the next few days, you may notice:
✨ New items appearing out of nowhere
✨ Photos changing
✨ Descriptions getting updated
✨ Inventory being added
✨ Me getting distracted by another project and accidentally adding three more products instead

Basically, if it sits still long enough, it's getting updated.

And before anyone asks—yes, our recent little consignment misadventure happened. No, it did not defeat us. If anything, it just reminded me why I started this business in the first place.

Cancer Cows by Tina isn't going anywhere.

We're still crocheting.
We're still creating.
We're still dreaming up ridiculous ideas and somehow turning them into actual products.

Most importantly, we're still spreading one love stitch at a time. ❤️🧶

So, keep an eye on the website because new goodies will be popping up as I rediscover things I made six months ago and forgot to list.

Thank you all for supporting my small business, my creativity, and my beautifully chaotic ADHD crafting adventures.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with my website, a mountain of inventory, and at least six unfinished projects that somehow became twelve.

🦋 A Little Business Update & A Lesson Learned 🧶❤️

If there's one thing this experience has taught me, it's that every closed door creates an opportunity for another one to open.

While my consignment adventure came to an unexpected end, I'm choosing to focus on the lessons it gave me rather than the disappointment.

My mom always taught me not to judge a book by its cover, but by the words written within its pages. As I've gotten older, I've learned that those "words" are often a person's actions, character, and how they treat others.

I'm taking this experience as a learning opportunity—one that will help me grow both personally and as a small business owner. Every step forward teaches me something new about partnerships, opportunities, and the kind of people I want to surround myself with.

Most importantly, this experience reminded me how grateful I am for the people who genuinely support and encourage others. The kindness, honesty, and respect I've been shown throughout this journey mean more than I can put into words.

CancerCowsByTina is still here. 🐮✨

I'm still crocheting.
I'm still creating.
I'm still building inventory.
I'm still working on my website.
And I'm still looking forward to future vendor events, markets, and new opportunities.

This chapter may have ended sooner than expected, but the story isn't over—not even close. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me, believe in me, and cheer me on. Y'all have no idea how much it means.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have frogs, dragons, jellyfish, and a whole lot of yarn waiting on me. 🐸🦋🧶✨

CONSIGNMENT UPDATE 🐸🧶✨

Y’ALL 😭💕

I officially made my first sales at the shop yesterday and I just found out today and I’m still over here excited screaming about it!!

My little froggies were the first items to sell 🥹🐸 and hearing that made my entire week. The shop owner was also excited to hear that I’ve been making more inventory and bringing in new creations.

Seeing my handmade crochet creations sitting in an ACTUAL store and now knowing people are taking them home is such a surreal feeling.

Every stitch, every late night, every restarted project, every tangled skein of yarn… it’s all slowly turning into something real. 🦋

Thank you to everyone who has supported Cancer Cow by Tina so far — whether you’ve liked, shared, encouraged me, or purchased from me. It truly means more than you know. 💕

Now it’s time to crochet more frogs apparently 👀🐸✨

If you are in the Duncan, Oklahoma area go check out Everyone's Flavor Curiosity Shop where you can find all kinds of unique treasures as well as all my handmade items!

I don’t think it fully hit me until today…

I walked into the shop and saw MY crochet sitting on a shelf… in an actual store. 🥹🧶

Like… people can walk in, pick it up, and take a piece of something I made home with them. That’s wild to me.

And then while I was walking around, I saw a kitchen set that stopped me in my tracks. It looked EXACTLY like the one my mom had when I was growing up. Instant memories.

It made me realize something…

People don’t just buy things in places like this.
They buy memories, feelings, little moments.

And now my work gets to be part of that for someone else. ❤️

I’m excited. I’m nervous. But mostly… I’m really, really grateful.

If you’re near Duncan, go check out Everyone’s Flavor Curiosity Shop and all the amazing vendors in there (including me 😅🦋)

Yesterday pushed me WAY out of my comfort zone 🥹💖

I met with Bobbi and handed over 23 of my handmade pieces for my very first consignment setup at Everyone's Flavor Curiosity Shop in Duncan 😭✨

23 pieces ... all made stitch by stitch, through late nights, trial and error, and a whole lot of determination.

I was nervous the entire time - not even gonna pretend I wasn't.

And honestly? I'm SO proud of myself for that.

This is what growth looks like for me right now

If you are local, you can now find CancerCowsByTina in Duncan 🐮🦋💖

✨ IT’S HAPPENING ✨

23 handmade items… READY TO GO 🥹💕

I just finished putting together my very first inventory list for my consignment setup at Everyone’s Flavor Curiosity Shop in Duncan and I’m honestly so excited I could cry a little 😅

From plushies to a giant jellyfish to cozy pieces—every single item has been made by hand and is getting prepped for the shop!

All that’s left now is tagging everything and getting it ready for drop-off 👀✨

This is such a huge step for me and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my creations outside of just friends and family 💕

Y’all… this is really happening 🥰

✨ IT’S FINISHED 🤣🐙✨

I swear I’m living my best SpongeBob moment over here 😂 this jellyfish had me feeling like my brain was about to get snatched!!

But after about 3 days and around 7 hours of work… this big ol’ beauty is DONE 💙

Weighing in at 1 lb 4.5 oz of handcrafted love 🧶✨

This one-of-a-kind jellyfish will be part of my first shop drop at Everyone’s Flavor Curiosity Shop in Duncan 💕

I am OBSESSED with how it turned out and honestly… pictures don’t even do the size justice 👀

What do y’all think—should I make more giant ones like this or stick to smaller versions? 🤔💕

✨ BIG NEWS (and a little chaos 🤣) ✨

I’ve been a little quiet lately because I’ve been working on something new… and I’m finally ready to share it 🫣💕

I’ve been given the opportunity to have my handmade creations in a local shop—Everyone’s Flavor Curiosity Shop in Duncan!!

This is a HUGE step for me and honestly something I never thought I’d be doing, but I’m so excited (and a little nervous 😅)

And behind the scenes… this is what I’ve been working on 🤣🧠🐙

Pretty sure this jellyfish is trying to steal my brain at this point, and it’s turning out WAY bigger than I expected 👀

I’ll be putting together a small collection over the next couple of weeks, including some of my one-of-a-kind pieces, and getting everything ready for the shop!

Thank you to everyone who supports me—even just liking, commenting, or sharing means more than you know 💕

Y’all are not ready for what’s coming 😂✨

🚨 ASSEMBLY HAS BEGUN 🚨

I officially have 85 squares laid out exactly like the pattern…
(81 dark pink + 4 gray 👀)

And let me tell you…

THIS. THING. IS. HUGE. 😳🧶

It’s already taking up most of my 4-foot table and I haven’t even scratched the surface of the full design yet 💀

So now I need to know…

Who else thinks this is 100% turning into a blanket?? 😂🔥

Because at this point, I’m not even questioning it anymore… this thing is about to be BIG big

I’ve officially entered the painstaking process of sewing these squares together, so wish me luck (and patience 😅)

If you want to see this monster come to life one section at a time, make sure you’re following along—I’ve got a LONG way to go!

👇 Tell me 👇
Blanket… or wall decor?? What do you think this is becoming? 👀
