a note i didn’t want to write 🖤

It seems when I open Instagram lately I notice more and more “we’re moving on” posts and unfortunately that’s what we’re here to say.
SophEve on Main was a vision born and brought to life. From the drawing boards and envisions of what she could be- the business was built ✨

Knowing the words “but you can’t think of it as a failure” will be heard, I know it should ring true but truth be told…this one will sting for a while.

But let’s focus on the positive- Met so many people who would become regulars and think of us when they needed a birthday card for a girlfriend’s dinner. Wanted something special for their daughter’s engagement party. Or an outfit for their upcoming interview.

And our girls who help run the store 🩷 because they truly love the shop and we have been so lucky to find this team- we know you all have created friendships that will last beyond these next couple weeks.

And lastly I want to share that small businesses really are the heart of every town — they’re the reason people fall in love with their communities. So please, keep showing up for them. Every coffee, every gift, every visit matters more than you realize.

We wanted to be transparent and share this news with you as our racks are feeling a bit lighter and our orders have slowed. We are having closeout deals already in store starting tomorrow so stay tuned for those.

As they say, when one door closes, another opens — and I’m holding onto that. We’re closing our doors with grace, proud of what we built and grateful for the chance to try. Here’s to the next chapter✨✨✨🫶🏽
