The fishing derby is still on. The creek is up a little and muddy but well within it's banks
To answer some of the most asked questions
Location. HERITAGE PARK MONTGOMERY
Off of west Houston behind the Boro office and library
The event is for children under the age of 16
This is free. And there is free hot dogs and snacks for the kids
Registration is from 7 am till 9 am and the derby runs from 9 till noon
All state laws apply for creel limits
Parents are allowed to assist but the child must be actively participating.
For Registration we just need the child's name and age.
We will hold a meeting for all the angler before the start of the derby and present prizes at noon
We appreciate everyone coming out and let's make this another great, safe and fun family day on the stream.

We pioneered the the double blade design of our trout spinners in the spring of 2021.
Over the years we had been questioned about the action, performance, and vibration thousands of times. It quickly became known as the Pine Creek special because of its preformance in the Pine Creek Valley. . We offer many different patterns and sizes. And have had great success with this pattern, now someone else noticed as well.
