I went to bed last night feeling incredibly grateful. ❤️
When I made the decision to transition The Chic Boutique away from regular in-store hours and into this next chapter with Whatnot, I truly didn't know exactly what it would look like — and I know some of you weren't sure either.
I've had several of you tell me you downloaded the app and hopped into a show just to see what it was all about. Thank you for giving it a chance. It honestly means more to me than you probably realize.
Last night I was live for about three hours. During that time, we had 55 orders, 15 buyers, more than 700 views, and an average of around 25 people hanging out with me throughout the show.
But here's the number that makes me especially happy:
❤️ 33 of those 55 orders were LOCAL PICKUP!
Because that's exactly what I hoped this transition could be.
You can still shop The Chic Boutique locally.
I may no longer have regular in-store shopping hours, but you can grab your phone, join me live from your couch, patio, or wherever you happen to be, see the merchandise, ask me questions in real time, and simply choose local pickup.
And at the same time, Whatnot allows this little boutique to reach people far beyond what I ever could through the doors of my physical store.
Seeing those numbers really put this transition into perspective for me. In just three hours, I was able to connect with hundreds of people while still serving so many of my local customers — and that's exactly what I hoped this next chapter could look like.
And this picture makes me smile. These are your local pickup orders alongside packages getting ready to head out the door. 📦❤️
