April 22, 2026 was a beautiful evening checking out Clark Lake and canoeing Crooked Lake. With just a little ice still hanging on. It should be completely gone by this evening. The loons are back and a delight to listen to.

Summer is finally on the way. With the rain we received last night and today Clark Lake is open!!!
Let the fun begin.

The Sylvania Lakes are clear of ice. Clark was open on March 31. Crooked finally cleared out on Friday, April 12.
Keep in mind the special provision lakes are not open for fishing till Saturday, April 27th.
Crooked lake is open for pan fish & catch & release bass.

Alert~ due to warm weather, no snow , animals have come out of hibernation. We have bear s**t
in our driveway.

Today Bob paddled on Cisco Lake, near the dam, with grandson Gage. Gage is breaking ice.

Today 12/26/23 there is NO SNOW!! All the snow we’ve had is completely gone. Canoeing on the outlet bay on Crooked Lake, open water on the left, all ice on the right.
