TAILGATE IN THE VALLEY

Mark your calendars, y’all. Saturday, November 15 is going to be one for the books! Water Valley is kicking off something brand new, and it’s got all the makings of a perfect fall Saturday: football, food, friends, and a whole lot of hometown spirit.

The Water Valley Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the very first Tailgate in the Valley at Shuffield Park, and we’re turning game day into a community celebration. Thanks to a giant screen from Victory Event Group the Ole Miss vs. Florida football game will be streaming live right in the park. Bring your tents, grills, and lawn chairs, or just come hungry and grab something from the food trucks serving up all kinds of game-day favorites.

There’ll be plenty of room to spread out, catch up with friends, and enjoy a crisp November afternoon cheering for your team, or just cheering for whoever’s winning.

So pack that cooler, grab your lucky jersey, and come join us for a brand-new Water Valley tradition. Whether you’re an Ole Miss fan, a Florida fan, or just a fan of good company, you’ll find plenty to cheer about at Tailgate in the Valley. 🏈

HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE AND TAILGATE IN THE VALLEY

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 15, because Water Valley is kicking off a brand-new tradition, the first-ever Tailgate in the Valley at Shuffield Park! It’s part of our annual Holiday Open House, so you can shop local all morning and afternoon, then settle in for football, food, and fun.

Thanks to our amazing sponsors, BankFirst, TVIfiber, and Sherry and Paul Fisher of Fischer Properties Team of ReMax Legacy, the park will be transformed into a game-day gathering spot, complete with a giant screen from Victory Event Group showing football all day. The Ole Miss vs. Florida game kicks off at 6 p.m., and tailgating set-up begins at 10 a.m.

Bring everything you need for the perfect tailgate: a grill, generator, tent, folding chairs, garbage can, portable fire extinguisher, and battery-powered lights for after sunset. Food trucks will also be on-site serving up all your favorite game-day eats.
