A bit of spring cleaning in the studio.

Every tube, laid out and painted on a swatch, just to see the color more clearly.

Over time, I’ve amassed 30+ colors.
And yet, I always return to the same few.

Green has quietly become a signature in my work, always some variation of it.
Mixed, remixed, layered.

It’s become the foundation of Ivy Paperie. 💚

And never purple, well… only once and I nudged it as close to blue as I could.

Blue is said to be the world’s most popular color.
I always return to shades of green.

Salvestrin Winery, in watercolor.

An illustrated series capturing the details that define this beautiful Napa Valley estate… the original Crane House circa 1900, stone winery, climbing hydrangea, vintage tractor, and moments of life on the vineyard property.

Created as a cohesive visual system —a collection to support the brand, storytelling, guest experience, and honor the history.

New watercolor workshop dates now live. 🎨✨

Four gatherings this spring/summer, including a special collaboration in San Francisco that I’m excited about!

No May session this year, as I’ll be in France teaching as part of a retreat with gathering ideas and returning in June with fresh inspiration.

DAY 9 (31-day watercolor challenge) 🎨 Wasn’t sure where today’s painting would lead—an homage to the American and Austrian flags, intertwined with their national flowers (rose 🇺🇸 + edelweiss 🇦🇹) INSPIRED BY my very loving Austrian-American husband, whose birthday is just around the corner. Celebrating tonight with an intimate dinner party and yes, homemade goulash (Austrian beef stew) is on the menu! ❤️✨

Bistro Jeanty isn’t just my favorite spot for delicious and comforting French food—it’s where I fortuitously met my husband. Without this beloved restaurant, our paths might not have crossed some twenty years ago.

Creating this illustration was a passion project in every sense. I know I’m not the only one with cherished memories made inside those cozy walls, behind the iconic red and white awnings, eating authentic bistro fare.❤️🇫🇷

I’m beyond excited to bring this custom postcard to life for Bistro Jeanty, celebrating the magic and memories this place holds for so many of us. Stay tuned!! 💌
