We are so blessed to have the Fields Family in this community. They tragically lost their son and brother, Asher, early this Spring. We loved that boy and always will. He was so good natured and kind. Asher did odd jobs in the store, from taking out the trash to wearing the inflatable unicorn costume around the square in May, to packing and unpacking boxes for us. From now until we no longer have The Collective, we celebrate Asher and the youth of this community. Our goal is to fill the fountain on The Square with as many Unicorn Rubber Ducks as we can!
This year we have 350 rubber ducks and hope to grow this event exponentially!
Ducks can be purchased at The Collective on Thursday, and Friday this week from 10-5:30, as well as Saturday morning from 9-11. Ducks can also be purchased with cash at Millers Bistro during these same days. Ducks are $2 per duck or 3 for $5. We’ll keep the ducks here and then float them in the fountain for you on Saturday. Ducks can be picked up outside The Collective after 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 9th.
100% of proceeds benefit the Identity Center youth center here in Washington. Please help us celebrate Asher Fields and the youth of Washington.
