What a year!

💡We began and ended the year in the warm light of the GLOW festival.

🌸We basked in the spirit of Cherry Blossom season with these custom artworks by DC’s very own

🎨🏃 joined our community and brought a refreshed new look to M street.

🍽️ began construction on the Market House for the highly anticipated & .starr Italian eatery and market.

🖼️ We embraced the rich art and culture scene during Art All Night with .arts & .dc

❌The pop-up reminded us of some of the past’s quirkiest failures.

🗞️Lastly, we were mentioned in and so much more.

We might be late in the game to visit the newly opened Maman Georgetown Cafe on Wisconsin Ave, but we compensate by over-ordering all of the matcha and quiche sophie has to offer.

Looks like we have an early spring on our hands this year which means that our beloved cherry blossoms may be at peak bloom ahead of the normal time too. Looking forward to the blooming season in Georgetown and DC can easily be one of our favorite things to do come March.

Not so “calm before the storm” here in Georgetown as we are enjoying the last few weeks of winter and getting ready to celebrate this beautiful neighbourhood again. From street art to cherry blossoms to new restaurant openings and community celebration, we can’t wait to join in all of the upcoming festivities.

2022 was a wonderful blur and it’s finished now, but the is continuing on. We are going into 2023 and taking our favourite things from the neighborhood - wonderful people, all of the history, great food and art - with us. Wishing you a very happy new year.
