What is the 8th luxury you would add?

Here’s a poem we wrote :

“I know it gets hard at times. The pressure, the stress, the responsibilities, the rush of the rat race and the preposterous posturing game we play.

That’s why it’s important to slow down, savor the flavor, enjoy the moment and focus on one thing at a time.

We won’t get it all done today. We can’t possibly make it perfect. What we can do is put in our best, add a little bit more effort and then take a step back to keep it all in perspective.
Our ability to travel, for not all have the ability to walk swiftly on to a plane or the resources to do so.

Our health, shall we not take it for granted. It is the muscle that needs flexed, the body that needs stretched, the joints that need soothed and the organs that need nourished.

Our quiet minds, in stormy weather it’s easy for a small mind to be tossed about. It takes a skilled sailor to navigate the mind and there are times when it’s best to keep our thoughts simple least we capsize in a see of doubt.

Our time, for it is limited and we should treasure it. It is the one element we cannot touch but all desire more of. The wealthiest men will always trade their last penny for another minute of it.

Our houses full of love, let us not forget how we came to be. A moment of love, the combination of two souls and the beauty of creation unfolds to allow us entry into this world. A home, no matter how small it is, no matter what town it is in, no matter what it is made of, not matter what it is inside it, can always be filled with love. It’s a choice.

Our good nights sleep, they may be far and few between some months, alas they are our only way to fully recharge. Let us treat our bodies gently and gratefully lay them to rest each night content with the work we have done.

There will always be more work to do.
There will always be another place to go.
There will always be another person to meet.

It’s when we stop rushing, that we find what we seek.“
